Ok, boards ordered. Shipping was stiff: C$75 (saying I'm in a "remote area"). There may be customs duty. If anyone else in Canada is interested, one more will be available. Cost is going to be about C$50 plus Canada Post shipping. okwatts--yes, I'll include the RPZ baseboard and all addon PCBs--gratis. Micropython running on the Pico Computer 3. Still a lot of work to do to enable all the peripherals but the core is now working. Looks like USB host will be the hard one Micropython hasn't got any USB host functionality. One note to anyone ordering. I don't know if JLC have changed their process in some way but I have found on my last batch minor issues with what appears to be some residue on the boards. On various boards I have had to spray the SDcard, or one of the USB ports, or the boot switch with contact cleaner to get everything working reliably. Typically they work without issues, but if you see any issues, contact cleaner or IPA will fix it. This last batch are the first for a while I have ordered in red. I don't know if the different colour solder mask might be the issue but if you do have a problem it is easily fixed. |

Ok finally got it sorted with JLCPCB now it did say the wfi chip wasn't available also it said 10K resistors weren't either so that has me worried. The price for 5 of them is $266 but the cheapest freight brings the order upto $366.75 so about $73 for each board. Does that sound right or not ? Regards Bryan |

The shipping sounds very expensive compared to the UK. I'm not seeing any shortfall on resistors - there is on the psram chips. The only thing odd on the components are the two three pin headers where if you want them to include them you need to check the boxes. |

Ok I talked with support and reloaded uploaded the files and selected different 10K resistors, now only one board will have the psram as thats all they had and no wifi chips either. So got the total cost down to $256 for 5 boards so for Australian members got 3 boards for the cost + shipping. Didn't see your post mate while I was in the shed but what I did find after I clicked the search button a new page came up with 10K resistors so just chose one where they had plenty of stock. Now I did ask about the $99 shipping and was told they will refund the extra which they did |
